Victims of online harassment and digital assault often feel they have no recourse when being stalked or bullied online. The Digital Assault Defense Fund takes up cases and helps victims find justice.
Increasingly and often without consent, the Internet is used for public humiliation, revenge and blackmail. Whether it is posting private pictures or incriminating text messages on social media or using sites like CraigsList, Tinder and Grinder to create false posts intended to bully and shame, often victims feel that they don’t have any recourse or way to fight back. Victims are often underserved by law enforcement and the justice system still adapting to these 21st century crimes
That’s where the Digital Assault Defense Fund comes in. We are a nonprofit organization that works with law firms, police departments and school administrators to educate, litigate and seek justice for those who have been bullied or blackmailed online.
We work to help victims fight back and get the dignity and justice they deserve.
